Powermaster 92507RT Details

Powermaster 92507RT Retro Torque starter is a purpose-built 12-volt replacement for 1932–1951 Flathead Ford V8 applications (and 1952–1953 manual-trans setups using the OE steel flywheel). Designed to deliver modern cranking performance without losing that classic-era vibe, it’s an easy upgrade when you want reliable starts on a street-driven hot rod or vintage build.

With 1.8 horsepower and 1.4 kW output, this direct-drive starter delivers 100 lb-ft of torque and rotates clockwise. It features a billet aluminum mounting block for strength and stability, and it comes finished in black to keep the engine bay looking clean and period-friendly.

Application

Designed to fit 1932-51 Ford Flathead applications. Does NOT fit 4 cyl/6 cyl engines (Applicable to V8 engine applications only) 1952-53 A/T (Applicable to Manual Transmission M/T application only). Not for use with French block, V8-60 or 8N Tractor.
