Perfect application for Mark IV Block with Hooker Headers

I installed this starter and a new Flexplate eliminating the reach issue I had with the old Delco rebuilt OEM style starter. Shim kits were not needed (to date). Starter engages first time every time. The smaller profile and side mount electrical connections make this ideal of use on my application. I can access the batter and ignition connections without having to take the header loose.

I have a Dart block, that may be part of it. I had to have .150" machined off of the mounting surface. Works good, but it may take a while to get it installed right.
