Great Starter
I had an oem remanufactured starter go out in my work truck and I had enough of reman units. This starter had many advantages over stock. It's a nice lightweight unit that's easy to install. Simple two wire hookups in a easy to access area. My truck has long tube headers that are tricky to work with. The stock starter I had to loosen the headers to assist in removal of old starter. With the powermaster starter I didn't have to mess with the headers to put it in. I always had the original starter have problems with hot starts. The powermaster has no issues with heat. The extra torque is more then enough to turn over the big block I have. Overall it's a great starter and not bad on price when comparing to sour experiences with reman starters I have had in the past. I'll gladly pay some extra to get a brand new unit.

May not fit
This starter is excellent in workmanship and is reasonably priced. The adaptor block was 1/2" too thick and required my mechanic to send it out to a machine shop to have it milled. This resulted in costly delays and could have been prevented. Not sure if this is a QC issue or if the adaptor block should be modified to accommodate different SB350 castings. I will nevertheless recommend this product.

This starter is perfect for my 1979 chevy c10 pickup. Perfect fit, works great, and this is what I really needed. I will continue doing business with Speedway motors. If you don't take a chance, you don't stand a chance. I took a chance on this starter and it worked out exactly the way I needed it too. Perfect fit and very good product.

One or both Bolts included may be too long for your application. If your solenoid uses the second small connector, you'll need to order a $24. accessory wire that makes this work with only two connections. It looks good and bolted right up, having two patterns makes it very versatile.

So far I like the install. Adjustable (clocking) so I could center between the block & the header which allowed the blanket to go on with out fighting the header or block.
