Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the product's quality and practicality in customizing and repairing brake systems. The part is well-constructed and provides a perfect fit, facilitating brake conversions and installations on various vehicle models. However, some customers found the instructions lacking and had to resort to online resources for installation guidance. Despite this, the product was confirmed to function smoothly and efficiently, especially compared to other similar products available on the market. Certain customers wished for a longer rod or clevis to ensure a perfect installation, but ultimately confirmed the product solved their brake system issues.

There seems to only be one of this type of bracket everywhere ive searched. Appear to all be the same stamping n cheap hdwe. sold under diff vendors. I didnt have any better options so,,being an artist and c10 builder/enthusiast I fixed the horrible 6+* forward lean by pie cutting and stepping the forward flange. This positiones the firewall and booster flanges to be parallel and realligns the booster plunger w/the upper lever clevis. Approx 6 hrs of reengineering & fabrication. The results are an eye pleasing, functioning setup. My application is unusual,,big block 1/2" higher at mounts, set up at 3* tail shaft.

I used it on my 66 c10.the booster that i got years ago didn't work on its own although I was told at the time it would. I didn't try it right away due to other things that were going on at the time, and it was too late to return it when I found that it didn't fit. Anyway, I remember a mechanic saying if it doesn't fit make it fit and your bracket with a little modification did just that and it works great.

A set of directions would have been nice. had to go online and find a video that showed how best to install and the minor pitfalls to avoid. The rod going inside is a little too short and the pedal is about half way to the floor. Surprised you dont offer a longer one or a longer clevis to fix this issue. Other than that it will solve my problem.

I purchased this item to custom build the brake system on my old truck. The piece is well built and the price is right.

What is the distance from the brake booster flange to the bulkhead flange that I can use regarding clearance issues with other components. Does the pedal linkage work with stock pedal used on manual brake applications? Thanks
