The stainless steel Porter Muffler is handmade using heavy duty 16 gauge, highly polished aircraft grade, 304 stainless tubing. The Original Porter Muffler is handmade using heavy duty 16 gauge aluminized tubing for our original blue Porter series. The uniquely designed interior chamber is fitted with a gapped steel spring and packed with stainless steel wool to channel the exhaust and make that distinctive Porter Muffler sound. To continue tradition of quality each Porter Muffler is handmade using only the best heavy gauge and high quality steel products sourced in the U.S.A.

I bought these Porter mufflers for my 1958 Impala. What a great classic sound. My dad has Alzheimer's disease and he built this car and has had it since 1970. He doesn't know too much anymore, but after leaving the muffler shop, I stepped on the throttle and his face lit up with a smile. That was worth a lot to me. My friend recommended these mufflers that he put on his car when I had asked him what he had on his mercury. I had never heard of the brand and I am very pleased with it.

Porters are the holy grail of mufflers for me tried many others but always settle back on the porters. Quality is excellent and the polished stainless finish looks spot on, mine are backing a pair of Truram rams horns all on 2.5" sounds amazing.
