Overall Assessment

The product has shown to be effective in go-kart installations, with users appreciating its fit and functionality. There were some concerns about rusting after prolonged use even with regular oiling, suggesting possible materials issue, but overall it performs its job well. The release mechanism was also praised. However, an unfortunate incident was reported where the keeper pin’s ball shot out during use, posing a potential safety issue. Despite the minor problems, customers rated the overall quality as very high, making it a worthwhile purchase.

I installed this on my go kart. I had to drill out the center but was able to get it snug and pinned on the shaft - its tight. After about 6 months of use, and disconnect only a few times, it seems the connection is a bit loose; some play on the connecting knuckle. I got the polished kit and the main part on the shaft has rusted. I do keep it well oiled and clean ut it has discolored. Its a go kart so not a major concern. What was somewhat upsetting was the ball in the keeper pin disappeared / shot out. While rolling on a straight away, the key came out. Luckily i had it on a short keeper and did not lose it.
