The chain is about three links short of lifting an inline six cylinder 250 with ease. With a bit of maneuvering you can make it work. The lift does the job with the thickness of the gage of metal used for the chain and positioner. I would recommend this for purchase and use. An inexperienced mechanic could also use this tool.
