Bought 2 of these to eliminate inside drone and get the exhaust down by 3 dB on my 85 Dodge Ram van with headers, dual 3" exhaust and Cherrybomb Vortex's. Before, I tried getting rid of the 1100-1500 RPM drone (almost only inside!) by installing 1/4 lambda resonators. Helped only a bit. Then I was thinking about putting a pair of 30" mufflers/resonators after the Cherrybombs (no other place left)... while looking for them, I saw these muffler inserts and gave them a try! Well, it's not a 100% fix, but the outside noise, measured the way German Police does, is down about 1-2dB and inside drone is a little bit less. Unfortunately, also the really nice 2800PRM "roar" is quite low now ;-) For the price, I really can recommend them!
