Painless Wiring 60217 Details
Take advantage of GMs electronic engine management system with this Painless Wiring Harness. Complete stand alone harness allows you to install late model GM Truck 4.8, 5.3, or 6.0 Vortec fuel injected engines with mechanical throttle body, and correct computer into almost any chassis.

The standard length harness allows four feet from the back of the intake manifold to where the fuseblock and ECM mount. Perfect for those that plan to mount these components under the dash or in the glove box.

Application
For installations of 1999 - 2006, mechanical throttle body, Gen3 (4.8L - 5.3L - 6.0L) engines using ECMs with service #12200411 or #9354896. 2003-2006 engines require the factory installed throttle by wire throttle body to be changed to a cable throttle type. This harness does NOT support Flex Fuel USCAR Injectors.

Nice instructions, easy to understand. The book that comes with painless harness is great. The best thing to do is read the book first ,lay harness out so you have the idea of how things work. Buy the painless crimping tool too. Makes job a lot easier. Painless customer support is great if you need to call them.

Look to be a great harness have not gotten it all installed yet have to buy braided loom befor I can install it wish it came with split loom as part of the harness but it is an additional kit to buy.
