Mr Roadster 55522422 Details

Mr. Roadster is the nation's largest builder and supplier of superior windshield frames! Fits most 'T' bucket bodies. No hinges or rubber divider required. Easy installation. All parts are triple chrome plated. 14" tall. Designed for short style vertical (916-56231) or 30° angled posts (715-1111).
  • Glass and windshield rubber not included 
  • If using 3/16" glass or lexan, use with brass setting channel. 
  • If using 1/4" glass or lexan, use urethane or setting tape (available from a glass shop) and do not use brass setting channel.

Note: Speedway's 1923-25 Model T bodies use a 39-5/8" wide windshield frame when using short posts.

A very nice part well made and looks like simple to install the chrome finish is really good the only thing i think you should include are the post to windshield mounting bolts for the price one pays

can this frame be painted black? or does I come in a bare steel frame that can be painted?

A customer has brought this frame - part # 55522422 for us to install a piece of laminated glass. Where the glass goes is not very deep and the width of the gap is 1/2" where as our laminated is 1/4". I was thinking there should be a gasket but he tells me it can be glued in. We don't want to mess this frame up so could you help us with the proper way to install. Thank you Reliable Glass Co - Oxford MS
