GM style speedometer sending unit for Omega Kustom electric speedo gauges. Signal generators are required if your transmission has or had a speedometer cable (like a TH350). No signal generator is required if your transmission is computer controlled or has a built in signal generator such as an electric 700R4.
- Hall Effect style signal generator
- 16 pulse sending unit
- Has a .104 drive tip
- Designed to work with GM transmissions originally using a drive cable to a mechanical speedometer
- Creates the correct pulse to drive Omega Kustom electronic speedometers
- Omega Kustom speedo gauges can be programmed to match your gear ratio and tire diameter

I have a super T-10 out of a trans am in my hot rod. Is this as simple as swapping the mechanical speedo drive out for this unit and wiring it to the omega electrical speedometer. Or does something need to be put on the tansmission tail shaft in place of the speedo tail shaft gear
