OER K841 1967-69 Camaro Cowl Top Vent Grill Panel, EDP coated
67-69 Chevy Camaro, 1968 Chevy Chevy II, 69-74 Chevy Nova
Reproduction stamped steel cowl top vent grill panel that was original equipment on 1967-69 Camaro models. This louvered sheet metal component installs directly below the windshield and behind the hood panel. Includes louvered vent slots through which the windshield washer nozzles spray fluid onto the windshield. The forward edge of this panel features a lap seam edge onto which the hood to cowl seal inserts.
This panel can also be installed on 1968-74 Nova models for a custom look that is especially tasteful when running a cowl induction hood with stripes. When running this panel with a cowl induction hood, a popular stripe design mimics the Chevelle stripes at the front of the hood and the Camaro stripes at the rear. This conversion features a bolt-on installation with no modifications necessary.
This part features a black electrophoretically deposited coating (EDP, or E-coat) for corrosion protection and is ready to be prepped, primed and painted without stripping.
