79–93 Ford Mustang OEM Replacement 7 Qt Steel Racing Oil Pan

The Speedway Motors steel racing oil pan is designed for 1979–1993 Ford Mustang Fox-Body applications equipped with the 302 5.0L small block engine. Featuring a dual-sump design, 7-quart capacity, and 9-inch deep sump, it is built to support improved oil control for drag racing and high-performance street use. The added oil capacity and baffled interior help maintain more consistent oil pressure during hard acceleration, braking, and other demanding driving conditions, making it a practical upgrade over a basic stock-style pan.

Constructed from high-quality steel, this oil pan is built for strength and durability, while the Black or zinc-plated finish provides added corrosion resistance and a clean industrial look that works well on both restored and modified vehicles. The driver-side dipstick location matches common Fox-Body 5.0L setups. A stock through-block dipstick tube can be used, but it must be installed before the pan is bolted on to avoid binding. For those wanting to use the side oil pan bung, Speedway Motors Dipstick Kit HZ-9452E is required, along with plugging the original dipstick location. Mounting hardware, gasket, and pickup pump are sold separately, with gasket HZ-7470 recommended for installation.
