Customers highly recommend our product for its quality, efficiency, and practicality. It particularly stands out for compatibility with various car models including Mustang II and Chevy. Many noted that the product is well-built and sturdy. Users found it useful in addressing clearance issues and solving alignment concerns, such as with the steering rack and pinion. Additional praise highlighted its role in extending tierod width for the Mustang II frontend and fitting perfectly on Chevy II with Mustang II front clip & tubular a-arms. It also resolved thread issues in tie rod ends. Some users wished it was included in the original front end kit.

This is a specific use part.
I am installing a bolt in Mustang 2 front end in a 47 GMC pickup. I have used the bolt in kit from Speedway and had excellent experience with the install. The Issue is that the steering shaft is very close to the SBC left bolt in engine mount so l had to shift the steering rack to the right side of the crossmember for clearance on the left steering side. This essentially shortens the left tierod and lengthens the right. That is what this part helps address. I am using the T-Bird rack and pinion with the Speedway offset bushings. Another issue is exhaust clearance using True Ram manifolds missing the steering shaft access to the steering rack.

Boy was this one screwed up not like Speedway Products
Somebody forgot to thread the tie rod end all the way about a inch was all it had unlike the previous ones I have used and what thread there was missed up my inner tie rod. I was able to correct the problem at a local machine shop. This is not what you get from Speed Way so I was able to correct.

Was able to spin it on about 1/2" then it fought the rest of the way. I would definitely have run a thread chaser through it if I had one available.

I did chase the threads with a 9/16-18 tap to clean out the threads. If it wasn't for that I would have given it 5 stars.

The specs say 1.5" thread length. Can it be threaded on further/deeper than 1.5"? It looks like it could from the picture, but not sure how its manufactured.
