Pretty slick
The hood is it allows you to swap levers and knobs without changing the shifter on the trans. The downside is you push the ball down instead of pulling up with your fingers. You may not want to rest your hand on the shifter as you may inadvertently move the shifter. I'm used to ratchet type shifters with a more positive and locked engagement. Also a bit pricey for what you get, but it does save you a lot of hassle.

Looks great in my 71 Cutlass with white interior. A bit tough to fine tune and not the most confident inspiring when manually shifting nut it's not a ratchet shifter either. I only gave it 4 stars because of cost, each Lokar component is separate which is great as far as customization but it adds up quick.

Having abused my hands for years working on Hot Rods I find it harder to depress the button on the Locar shifter bad thumbs, so this is a game changer. Smooth action with great looks. A little tricky to get adjusted but woth the effort. Overall a great product

The instructions were very good, complete and easy to follow. I made the installation and followed with one adjustment. The shifter now has a muscle car look from the 1950-1960 era. I have been to one car show so far and got lots of comments from the participants and spectators. My automatic transmission is now commonly mistaken for a 4-speed standard shift.
