Many reviews of this product say it leaks and is dangerous. I discovered that all the provided fuel barbs, except for the 3/8 barb, appear to be 3/8 compression threaded rather than 3/8 NIP making it impossible to get a proper leak free seal. I used the 3/8 barbs in the kit that I turned down slightly in my lathe to fit 5/16 fuel hose and sealed the threads with Permatex aircraft thread sealer and was able to get leak free operation.
