Wheel Studs

These wheel studs manufactured from Moroso are made of a high strength steel. Their press-in design makes them stronger than stock. These wheel studs are sold in sets of 5.

• Exceeds sanctioning bodies requirements on the use of extra-long wheel studs with thick-hub racing wheels
• Manufacturing from high grade SAE 8740 steel to withstand sheet loads of 190,000 psi (which exceeds Grade 8 specifications)

• All stud lengths are measured from the base of the knurl to the end of the stud.
• 0.560" knurl dia. for standard hole size 0.552" to 0.559"
• 7/16" threads
• 2-7/8" length
• Fits many late model GM disc brake and early drum brake applications

 

Wheel Lugs

Use these oversized 1 Inch Hex Steel lug nuts in plane of those 'puny' stock size lug nuts.

You will need a 1" hex (6-sided) socket. 

7/16" Fine Thread fits most GM mid-size cars.

What's The Angle
Most racing wheels have a 45° seat for the lug nut to seat in while most street wheels use 60°. By using 45° the lug nut is able to clamp tighter over a larger area, which helps keep your wheels on the car where they belong.

If you mix and match street and race wheels or lug nuts you are just asking for trouble. All our lug nuts are 45° and designed to be used with racing wheels.
