The Moroso 24450 oil pump pickup is designed for big block Chevy engines using Moroso and Melling-style race oil pumps. It fits Moroso BBC race pump numbers 22149, 22150, 22159, 22160, and 22162, as well as M77 and M77HV style pumps. This makes it a key component for builders assembling a performance or racing big block Chevy oiling system.

A properly matched oil pump pickup is essential for consistent oil supply, especially in engines built for high-rpm or competition use. This pickup is intended to work with the specified performance pump styles to help maintain correct pickup position and dependable oil flow inside the pan. Using the correct pickup is one of the most important details in building a reliable oiling system.

For big block Chevy applications where durability and oiling performance matter, the Moroso 24450 is a purpose-built solution. It is a straightforward but critical component for ensuring that a performance pump setup is properly supported.
