Mobil Delvac Modern Grease 2 is an extreme-pressure, multi-purpose grease built for severe-duty use in on-highway trucks, agriculture equipment, and off-highway/construction applications. It’s designed to stay in place and keep protecting when loads are high, service intervals are long, and re-greasing isn’t always convenient.

This “Modern Grease” series replaces the prior Mobil Delvac Xtreme Grease line with no formulation changes, so performance, handling, and compatibility remain the same—and there are no restrictions on mixing the old and new product names. Mobil Delvac Modern Grease 2 is NLGI Grade 2 and uses a high-temperature lithium complex thickener that resists softening under heavy working conditions while maintaining strong adhesion and structural stability.

In service, it delivers dependable EP and anti-wear protection for components like hinge/bucket pins, U-joints, and fifth wheels, plus bearings operating under heat, shock loads, and exposure to water. It also provides strong corrosion protection (ASTM D4048 1A copper strip; ASTM D1743 PASS) and holds up well in high-temperature environments with a 305°C dropping point (ASTM D2265).
