If the new Pro-Cap doesnt work on your application, these MSD Cap-A-Dapts will do the trick. The MSD Cap-A-Dapt adapts a large, Ford style cap onto your MSD distributor. This large cap spaces the spark plug terminals farther apart which lessens the chances of cross-fire and ionization occurring. Spark plug-style terminals are used on the cap for tight connections that will not vibrate loose.
The Cap-A-Dapts will install on most MSD Pro-Billet Distributors (except the Ford FE). Kits are supplied with a high quality cap with brass terminals, rotor and cap spacer.

I have 1968 Corvette with BBC 454 (engine from 1970). The distributor is older, I'm guessing from early 80's, it has a tach drive on it. The cap that came with car is very similar to the part # MSD 8445, but in the blue color and male ends. My question is, will this universal cap fit my car? I'm not sure want brand distributor is currently in my car. According to your website, it says it will fit, but I want to make sure and I need a price on cap, rotor, and dust shield or spacer. Thank you for your time.
