MSD 84211 Details

When you install EFI on your engine, most systems will require the ignition timing to be advanced for the ECU. This can cause issues with rotor phasing, but the new Adjustable Rotor remedies this issue! The Rotor is based on MSDs popular PN 8467 Race Rotor.

This is essential if you want an ecu to control the timing. Just lock out the distributor and install this rotor for final adjustment

Do your homework and read up on the procedure and importance of rotor phasing, then install this on your MSD distributor. There are quite a few videos and articles out there. It's important to get the rotor as close to the terminal/post on the cap (at full mechanical advance) as you can to maximize the spark energy going to the plug. Burn the mixture in the cylinder, not the air inside the cap.
