Complete your front suspension with this convenient assembly from Speedway Motors. These control arm kits are perfect for Chevelle stub Modifieds and Sport Mod race cars.
- New stamped lower control arms
- A-Arms retain stock suspension geometry
- Steel bushings minimize alignment change during cornering since they do not deflect
- Grease zerks included for regular lubrication
- Shock mount features 1/2" hole for spherical bearing or heim style shocks
- GM truck ball joints feature longer/taller stud to change the pivot point resulting in a raised roll center point for improved handling- equivalent to Moog# K6117
- 1/2" Taller (than stock) Ball Joint Studs
- IMCA approved
Kit Includes:
- (1) 68-72 GM A-Body Lower Control Arm - Left Side
- (1) 68-72 GM A-Body Lower Control Arm - Right Side
- (2) Steel Lower Control Arm Bushings - 1.400 OD x .500 ID
- (2) Steel Lower Control Arm Bushings - 1.650 OD x .500 ID
- (2) 73-95 Truck K6117 Style 1/2" Longer Stud Lower Ball Joints
- (2) Weld-on Lower Mounts - Bearing End Shocks
Installation Notes:
- When assembling this kit, both the control arm bushings and ball joints will need to be tack welded / spot welded in place. With these components being aftermarket and best for performance and handling as an aftermarket/off-road application, they will NOT have a press fit. Once test fitted to your control arm and chassis you will need to securely tack weld / spot weld the bushings and ball joints in place.
- The shock mount bracket will also need welded on.
