Is the clevis you mentioned and recommended shaped like a capital "L" or strait? Should I look for an "L" shaped clevis, or are they all strait, that is wide enough to slip over and tightly fit each side of the upper pedal arm that has a hole in it to accept the cable, and an attachment mechanism? Then, some type of a round pin, screw, etc., that will go from one side of the upper arm to the other through the clevis, and the hole in the upper arm to attach or hold the throttle cable to it? I apologize ahead of time if these are dumb questions. But, with exception to paint and body, and interior work, anything else that gets done to my F1, will have to be accomplished by me, or a life long friend of mine who can do just about anything to a given vehicle. Thanks in advance for any answers or advice. Greg

Can this throttle pedal replace the Speedway brand pedal item number 6244, and the same cable used with it? Can I use this throttle pedal to replace a different Speedway throttle pedal product item number 6244? And, since I also purchased the recommended universal throttle cable, item number 6230 and the cable has worked great, I would like to reuse it; if it will also work on this Lokar pedal? It would be installed in a 1951 F1, and I noticed a Lokar 1/2 spacer that might need to be used to add additional travel, if necessary. Anyone that is familiar with either pedal, or has any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Greg

Will this throttle assembly kit fit on 2001 Pontiac Grand AM GT All I want to do is a quick exchange I don't want to go crazy spending a lot of money for different pieces i may need. Again all I want to do is remove the standard throttle pedal and pedal arm and replace it with this Lokar steel throttle pedal, is it possible ?
