hard to adjust

I don't know if it's the switch or not but the contact has a very short range from start to bottom out it goes fron on to off at the bottom pushing in, maybe it's just my 50 years of electrical that I missed something.. I'll try anouther switch..

Questions & Answers

I have a Lokar shifter installed on a C5 Ford tranny. It works great! I do not need to use the neutral safety switch. How do I adjust the switch/shifter to be used as a back up light switch? I called Lokar and they said there was no back up light switch available for the C4/C5. Nor did they say you could use the switch for a backup light switch. The trans is from a 1982 LTD with a 3.8V6. The back up light switch for that application is on the end of the column. I am using a Speedway GM column. My vehicle is a 1934 Ford Hot Rod. Thanks.
