    I had ordered a dipstick kit for the Dodge 5.7 liter engine. I did not realize at the time, the kit was for a 5.7 liter car engine, not the truck engine (which I have). The oil indicator rod was too short, would not show the oil level. I called Lokar and they said the part S-5055 could be used to make a longer indicator rod. I got the part, cut a new, longer indicator rod, and now it indicates the oil level. Problem solved.
