Lokar EHB-7000F Details
This Lokar Floor Mount Emergency Hand Brake features a chrome plated steel e brake handle and is designed after the automotive industry standards. The ratchet cut gear plate and lock are heat treated for strength and safety. Special feature includes 4-point mounting capabilities for floor mount or side mounting for custom applications.
Comes complete with clevis for installation with Lokar Emergency Brake Cables, Lokar # EC-80FU, Speedway Motors # 491-80FU suggested below. Cables are sold separately.
Lokar Install Tip: Every think about mounting the floor mount hand brake sideways in front of your seat? You can!
Handle:
- Length of upper chrome handle is 9-1/8 " from rear to end of release button
- From end of release button to center of clevis pin is 10-5/16 "
- From pivot point to end of release button is 9-3/16 "
- From pivot point to center of clevis pin is 1-7/8 "
- From center of clevis pin to top of handle is 3-1/4 "
Mounting:
- Mounting bolt centers for horizontal brackets are 4-11/16 "
- Horizontal mounting bracket holes are 2 " center to center side to side
- Horizontal mounting bracket holes are also 4-11/16 " center to center from front to rear
- From center of clevis pin to end of clevis is 1-1/8 "
- Clevis referred to is at bottom of assembly and where the e-brake cables attach

Just right for a Model A
As with all things Lokar, this is another of they're high quality products. Perfect fit in my Model A project. Super easy install and good and solid ounce bolted to the floor. I also bought the black cables to hook-up to the Ford 9 inch drum brakes. Took me about 2 hours for the complete install. Works as well as any factory parking brake! Great product and Speedway's great prices and fast shipping! Keep up the good work!!!

Spring loaded Mechanism did not last
I installed this parking brake handle on my 1929 ford, after less than three months use, the spring loaded mechanism broke and handle no longer works to apply the parking brake.

Mounted in my 55 Chevy 2dr restomod. Never liked the stock dash pull handle (all of it was missing when I bought the basket case) and after swapping in a stouter rear, It made no financial sense to chase parts to adapt the rear discs for the stock system along with sourcing the all the missing stock parts.

does this come with the clevis or do i need to order the cable too? im currently using the pinto donor car one which has a threaded stud the attaches to the hand brake. my thinking is i can cut down the stud to length and run it into the clevis. it has disk so once it works no further adjustments will be needed.thanks john
