Lokar's Nostalgia Shifter is designed with 2 bends in the lever and a black mushroom knob for a nostalgic hot rod look. It has 23" lever, Teflon-lined Safety-Lock-Out button, main plate, and side brackets.

A well-built and functional product
After seeing my buddy buy another shifter for his twin to my '41 Chevy Pickup - I was not impressed with his result. I then looked at several other rat rod trucks at a show and saw they ALL had Lokar shifters, and several had the Nostalgia version that I was interested ion. I spoke with a local expert and he said the Lokar was the best he had seen - and he was right. Parts are well made, all the parts were clearly marked for an easy install. Smooth - not just the shift but the whole Lokar experience.

Works great and looks great in my 46 Chevy pickup! Mounted right up to my Chevy 400 transmission. Had some trouble adjusting the neutral safety switch, had to use an extra thin washer, work great now!

Nice quality overall. Like the lockout button feature. Only thing I think could be improved on is the shift rod. It's small diameter threaded rod, making it a little flimsy. Easy enough to improve on though.

i put this shifter into a 34 chev coupe took me most of the day to fit i had clearance problems had to modify floor only when it was in park i did adjust it to its max but still hit floor...seems to work great now..
