Lokar ACA-1804 Cable Column Shift Linkage, 2 Inch Aftermarket GM

Simplify connecting your column shift to your transmission with a Lokar Cable Column Shift Linkage Kit.  This is the ultimate answer to interference issues when you are unable to use factory or Lokar's hard column linkage.  The cable allows you to route the cable around transmission, exhaust, cross-members and brake pedals.  It can also be used in conjunction with the Back-Up Light or Neutral Safety Switch Kit # 491-1400 for most GM transmissions.  Features black housing, designed with specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable, and stainless inner wire measuring 6 feet in length.  Ready-to-install hardware and brackets included in kit - no cutting or measuring - simply bolts on.  The rigid, clean line design allows the proper ratio adjustment between the transmission and the indicator on the column.

Note: This kit now works with 4l60E and 4l80E( with short selector shaft) 2" aftermarket GM style columns and most GM factory columns .  Works with all GM transmissions however it does not work with a Powerglide, 4L70E and newer transmission, Ford, or Chrysler transmission.

Tech Tip:  If you have a direct line of sight from column shift arm to transmission shift arm, we suggest using the adjustable column shift linkage # 491-1800.  To determine column diameter, measure the lower outer column tube.
