Bolt a newer type 4-bolt carb (3-1/4" x 1-7/8", like Rochester 2GC) to an early 3-bolt manifold. Aluminum casting.
Note: If bolting this adapter to a 3-bolt intake, consider using a slotting drill bit to drill out the three holes which will aid in adjustment and installation of the adapter to the intake.

Seems to be well made
I am using this so I can test both Rochester 2G's and '94's after I rebuild them (I have a bored out Mercury intake manifold engine on my test engine). Since I am running the 4 bolt side against the engine, I am not having the clearances issues that were reported when using it the other way. It has an "open plenum", so I am considering making a divider for it and see if it makes any difference. (This is just to satisfy my own curiosity and has nothing to do with the adapter itself.)

Fits poorly
When installing with 3 hole side down there is no clearance on the 3 hole side for installing nuts. The rear is impossible. Had to go to a special nut with a 3/8" head. Short term these should be included with the part. Long term the casting should be changed or some machining done to give adequate clearance for standard nut and wrench. All three holes are tight but the single rear is the worst.

Didn't use. Thought it would convert the intake manifold from Tbilisi to carb. Must of read description wrong. No need for it but do not want to pay for shipping it back. Sylliwpeej

Need adapter to mate Stromberg 2bbl with solenoid (for 4 bolt pad) to an Edelbrock P600 manifold for 318 Poly, which has 3 bolt carb pad. This "looks" correct, but I don't have the distances between all 4 bolts on the Stromberg to compare to that of the Rochester, which you gave above in another answer. Any help would be great. Thanks!!!

Will this work? My friend bought a 305 from a formula. But thwy cut the wiring harness and didn't sen the computer, we are going to standard carberated with a 500 cfm Holley Double barrel... It had a Rochester 3 bolt on it... Will it make the conversion for us? 3 bolt to 4 bolt holley?

Will this reverse-fit to a stock 49-51 Merc intake? I am trying to adapt a 94 or 9Super7 to my stock Mercury intake (4 bolt) I now have a collection of 2GC's that are not the right size baseplate. So I figure I would just go traditional, but I don't want to buy a new intake.
