I have a 1940 Chevy coupe, which already had an aluminum fuel tank mounted in the trunk. The original fuel filler was not being used and I welded up the hole in the fender. The tank was mounted north/south in the trunk and ate the space, so I remounted it east/west with the filler neck just below the area between the rear window and trunk lid and mounted the flip up gas cap there. It looks bitchin', eliminates the need to open the trunk to add gas, and relocating the tank gave me back needed trunk space. Triple win. Cool looking cap I would use again.
