LS7 lifters for all your performance LS needs - right here at Speedway Motors! We packaged together a set of 8 lifters for one simple reason - LS engines need a set of 8 "standard" lifters per cylinder head. 

  • Latest design in roller lifters for LS motors
  • Replacement for factory LS7 lifter
  • Upgrade for LS1-6 motors, same installed height

The GM LS engines all share the standard GM roller lifter.  The lifter was developed in the GenII LT1 and Vortec Engines. This HL-2148 is what most people commonly refer to as the LS7 lifter.

For instance, this HL-7011WT is known as the HL178 hydraulic lifter. 

Lifter failure is the fuse of your engine

Here at Elgin Industries, we offer auto parts equivalent to OEM interchange.

When replacing the lifters, be sure to change a few other parts too. Lifter guides can fail from polymer fatigue. The worn guides can allow the lifter to spin in the bore causing engine failure. Elgin Industries’ lifter guides are OE.

This product installed perfectly in my application. The price was a little on the high side as I did not notice it was for only eight but they work well with the GM ASA cam so I'd say they're worth the piece of mind especially if you're just deleting the 8 DoD lifters.
