Easily Adapt Stock LS Fuel System Components to Your Custom AN Fuel Lines
The popularity of the LS swap has been because of the ability to retain much of the OE components, like the intake manifold, fuel rails, and injectors, and often the factory PCM and wiring even with little work. This makes adding a 5.3 or 6.0 (among the many options) very enticing, as you’re not having to add aftermarket intake, fuel rails, computer, and other bits just to get your junkyard engine installed and fired up, reducing the cost of your LS swap. Using a few special fittings/adapters is often all that is needed to get your LS swap up and running. For the factory GM fuel system most will use aftermarket AN -6 fuel lines for their simplicity and ability to adapt to just about any frame or chassis, unlike the factory LS fuel lines you may find in the junkyard. Connecting the typical AN -6 hose ends to your LS swap’s fuel rail and/or fuel filter are ably handled by our GM fuel line to AN fitting fuel line adapters.
Offered as a pair of 3/8-inch and 5/16-inch fittings, our LS fuel line fittings are precisely machine from 316 stainless steel for a strong, leak free connection that will not deform or be easily damaged like aluminum fittings. Dual O-ring seals ensure the LS fuel line fittings can easily handle EFI fuel system pressures, while the threaded retaining cap provides a secure installation that will not come apart until you’re ready to take the fitting apart manually. The 37-degree flared male end accepts any AN -6 37-degree flare fitting, including standard hose ends, push on hose ends, gauge adapters and the like.
The female side of the 3/8-inch fitting fits 3/8-inch EFI quick connect applications commonly used as a LS fuel rail adapter as well as to adapt the inlet side of common GM LS fuel filter assemblies, while the female side of the 5/16-inch fitting fits 5/16-inch EFI quick connect applications commonly used as a LS fuel rail adapter as well as to adapt the return side of common GM LS fuel filter assemblies, such as our popular LS1 style fuel filter assembly.
These OEM replacement fittings are designed to serve as direct replacements for factory equipment, ensuring seamless compatibility and hassle-free installation in LS applications. Constructed from 316 stainless steel with a natural finish, they offer enhanced durability and corrosion resistance for long-lasting performance. Each fitting boasts a precision design featuring an SAE quick disconnect threaded aluminum retaining cap, allowing for quick and secure connections even under high pressure. Additionally, equipped with internal O-rings that seal to their respective 3/8" and 5/16" quick disconnect lines, these fittings guarantee reliable, leak-free connections that meet OEM specifications.
