KRC Racing KRC-4600 Short Stainless Steel Element
Universal Fit
Details
Info
The Micron rating on the stainless steel filter is a 100 absolute. This is NOT a nominal rating like most filters are rated. This is an Aircraft Rating and is very precise. Could compare to a 60 nominal.
This stainless steel filter keeps water out of gasoline. This filter works great for Alcohol. While paper elements may be cheaper, they don't last as long and don't handle alcohol well at all. Stainless steel filters will last a very long time and are truly "cleanable," unlike many pleated stainless filters. This filter element flows 5 gallons per minute at 12 PSI with an 8AN fitting and well over 350 gallons per hour with a 10AN or 12AN. This filter will stand pressures of 500 PSI. Great for any fuel injection system which runs about 65 PSI.
