These Keith Black Claimer Pistons (also known as economy pistons) feature coated skirts, wrist pin lockrings and T-5 hypereutectic construction. Can be used with either press fit or floating wrist pins (wrist pin and lockrings included).

Set of 8 for Chevy 383 c.i. (4.000" bore x 3.75" stroke). Does not include piston ring set. Use Ring Style C.

These pistons are an excellent value. Very consistent with dimensions and weights, including the coating, anti-detonation grooves above top ring and accumulator groove between 1st and 2nd rings. The only thing I would like to see is the use of Spiralox versus the retainer clips.

I was pleased with packaging , came very quickly and all pistons were close in weigh of each other. The only con I would have was the single page assembly instruction that came with them, not a big deal but I did not realize there was a certain direction the support ring was to be installed. Most all pistons I have ever assembled as a rule were dimples or dots face upward. After installing I realized that the lower support ring was to be assembled dot or dimple down and had to remove and reassemble. I only caught this by chance when the paper fell off work bench and I saw the instructions for this ring on the rear. Over all very pleased with the finished product.

I need standard bore 4.000 but will not add keeps making me to pick oversized are they out of stock?

Can I get these pistons in .60 over for instead of just a standard bore? I am building a 383 that is bored 60 over, making it a 388. These are the pistons I need due to them being for a 6.0 rod. Can I get these for 4.060" bore? Thanks.
