Keith Black Hypereutectic pistons are favored for their improved power and reduced scuffing. The unique design & manufacturing processes combine to produce a rigid piston, which will rock less in the bore improving ring seal. These T-5 heat treated pistons also offer reduced thermal expansion, which allows you to run tighter clearances and allows the piston rings to seal better and minimize blow-by.

I have a 1971 400 4 bolt main block that has been board .030 over and has lived a nice long life 180k miles since it was built in 1979. Can this block be safely board to .060 over? I noticed the .060 option for pistons is not an option for this engine option... Is this block a 2 piece rear main seal motor? Do you have a internal balance rolling assembly with crank, rods and pistons available for this 1971 block? Cell 810-429-0425
