The mount was a retrofit for 59 Chevy El Camino using a chrome aftermarket steering column. I reverse the install so the countersunk heads were on the engine side of the firewall. Cleaner look - my opinion. the column was 2 inch and the mount was a 2 1/4 inch, so I reordered and installed the 2 inch the same way. worked great and now I have an extra mount for another project.
