Chrome grill surround

I bought this chrome grillshell for my 26 T coupe. Quality of construction is nice and finish of the chrome is first class . Thevonky problem i had was it did not fir my car with the oruginal radiator. Luckily i had also bought a new alloy radiator which also need work to fit but the new grill fitted the new ead perfectly. Very happy with it all round now, as once i had made and tig welded new brackets on to the new rad to fix it to the chassis it only took a few minutes to bolt the grill and rad togethwr and mount them on the car.

t radiator cover

This is ok but not what I expected , the chrome is good, but the cover has 2 mounting holes that should not be there, it is made more for a stock T with radiator mounted on top of frame, not a T Bucket , it was too wide for my frame.

I got this to adapt to the Speedway T Bucket radiator that I needed to replace the old rotten Walker in an older build i bought. I'm working on a budget and don't want to change much with the car because it is basically as it was 30 years ago. This shell fit perfectly after I elongated the hole for the rad cap, much easier and better than I expected. Just need to make a filler piece to cover the longer hole, but that wouldn't even be necessary for most driver-grade applications. Overall I am thrilled with the rad and shell combo I got from Speedway, but I do think there is a need for a set that is made for each other in this price range.

Shell fits tightly over my Walker radiator. It would be nice if they would leave the mounting holes undrilled. And the top inner edge of the shell is not perfectly straight. But I'm happy overall. It's Chrome and looks better than my bare steel shell.
