Speedway Motors 1351935B Details

This plate adapts Edelbrock, Carter AFB, Holley, or Demon 4-barrel carburetors to the smaller 1950's Carter WCFB 3-7/8"x 3-3/4" bolt pattern intake manifold.

This carb adapter includes gaskets for both top and bottom sides as well as mounting hardware. Adapter measures 1/2" tall.

For race/ off road use or for use on pre-1966 vehicles.

Emissions warning: this part only legal for sale or use in California for racing (competition) vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a public highway, or if installed in vehicles model-year 1965 or older; motorcycles model-year 1977 or older; or off-highway recreational vehicles (such as off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles) model-year 1996 and older. Any other use renders the vehicle tampered and not legal for use on California public highways (any public street or roadway, public dirt road, public park, or publicly maintained right of way open to the use of the public for vehicular travel). Violations subject to $37,500 penalty per violation per vehicle, revocation of registration, loss of use on California public right of ways, and proof of correction for tampering. There are similar restrictions and penalties under federal law and the laws of all other states with penalties under federal law of up to approximately $45,268 per tampered vehicle and/or engine.

Perfect fit, includes gaskets!

I used this for a 1955 Buick Nail head and it worked perfect! Picture doesn't show gaskets, but I was relieved to see that they were included. The only other thing to mention, is that I had to center the butterflies before tightening the carb down, it's close, but it works great! The car never run so good.

Problems with quality

One tab broke and another cracked when installing with only seven to nine pounds torque. Casting was bad with several stress areas. The piece was not flat with several low spots on both sides. Also burrs that needed to be removed. Wish that Speedway offered a better option, maybe billet? They are sending a replacement. Hope this one turns out better. All the other parts purchased along with this mounting plate are great.

Great fit for EARLY Rochester 4-Jets. (Early to mid 50's GM) The flat head socket head screws allow you to screw the adapter to the factory manifold. There is another adapter that says it works for Rochester but not the early ones. Screw down to the manifold and the carb (edlebrock 1406 in my case) bolts right up. Good quality and fit, hardware and the included gaskets are good quality too. Used on a stock 1955 Cadillac series 62 w/ 331.
