This aluminum carb adapter plate lets you adapt a large Holley 2300 series 2-barrel carburetor to a Rochester 2G 4-bolt 2-barrel intake manifold base. The adapter features an open plenum design and measures 1/2" thick. The carburetor adapter includes two gaskets and all necessary hardware to install.
- Adapts Holley 2300 (or equivalent Ford/Motorcraft) to Rochester 2G/Carter intake
- Smaller bolt pattern: 1-7/8" x 3-1/4"
- Larger bolt pattern: 3-1/2" x 5-1/8"
- Adapter is 1/2" thick
Note: With just a little work with a file, the adapter can also be used to adapt an intake manifold with a 2" x 3-3/4" bolt pattern to the Holley 2300/Ford/Motorcraft 2 barrel carburetor as well.

Upgrading from a BallxBall 2 barrel or a Rochester 2gc carb
Desired to upgrade the carb on my 1964 Plymouth Belvidere hardtop to a modern Holley two barrel. The stud spacing on my original Ball&Ball was 17/8 x 31/4. Your carb adapter which is adjustable from 17/8 x 31/4 to 21/16 x 311/16 fit the bill perfectly. I had the option of either a 350 cfm or a 500 cfm Holley and I chose to go with the 350 cfm model. It should be noted that those with GM products using the Rochester 2gc carb 21/16 x 311/16 base spacing can use this adapter as well. After running a hot wire to automatic choke, I was well on my way down the road. Thanks for a great product at a reasonable price.

questionable Mounting hole flange
The inner holes have flanges to catch the bolts used to attach to the Rochester side of things are INCREDIBLY! thin, do not over tighten!

So I can adapt my 57 Olds J2 manifold with the small base 2GC Carburetor pattern of 1 7/8 X 3 1/4 to the newer 59-61 2GC base of 2 X 3 3/4 ? And if so what do I have to file on the adapter? Can you suggest a jet size to use with a high lift roller cam?
