Holley 0-9776 Details

The Holley Model 4160 450 CFM four barrel carburetor is great for use on tunnel rams. It has mechanical secondaries and is designed for use on inline dual 4 barrel applications or small displacement Ford applications. Linkage is not compatible with GM or Chrysler Automatic Transmissions.

Emissions warning: this part only legal for sale or use in California for racing (competition) vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a public highway, or if installed in vehicles model-year 1965 or older; motorcycles model-year 1977 or older; or off-highway recreational vehicles (such as off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles) model-year 1996 and older. Any other use renders the vehicle tampered and not legal for use on California public highways (any public street or roadway, public dirt road, public park, or publicly maintained right of way open to the use of the public for vehicular travel). I mounted the pair of 450 cfm holleys, put the gas to them and the 1960 389 fired right up at idle without any adjustment. Wish holley made regular gas that wont rot the fuel lines!

I have not messed with dual carbs since the 70's but decided to use them on my new project. Ordered these carbs and installed them on the tunnel ram I had for years and they fit great and were really easy to get the linkage mounted to connect them together. The carbs look good and work smooth. They have a nice finish. It will be a while yet before I find out how they work on the motor but if work as good as they look, it should be no problem to get them setup.

What jets sizes do this carb come with? These are going on a supercharged 355 Chevy. Running 10psi of boost, 38 tooth lower/34 tooth upper pulleys. Closest guess is 700-800hp. I am at 4800' elevation. Would you have a jet recommendation for a starting point?
