Details
These brand new aluminum remote reservoir power steering pumps are a high flow type for use with 1982-88 T-Bird power rack & pinions or GM power steering. Same as GM Type II TC pumps.
- The fitting at the inlet (suction) end of this pump is AN10 male
- The fitting at the outlet (pressure) end is AN6 male
- A 5/8"-18 banjo fitting can be used on this pump by removing the AN6 male fitting. The internal threads are 5/8"-18.

I bought this power steering pump to replace the one on my 1968 charger. I bought a hydro boost system for the brakes for it. This pump was small and compact and easily mounted to my system. If you are switching over to hydro brakes on an older muscle car this is a good choice. The price was very reasonable also.

I have a car with a custom chassis and decided to use a Thunderbird rack with a GM type II pump. I had purchased a competitors pump that has a tiny billet tank on top of it. I had a lot of issues with it ranging from inability to get the right feel with different flow valves to massive cavitation, got crazy hot and could never get the air bled from the system. I have a big block Chevrolet engine in a tight spot so I went with this pump and a remote reservoir... problem solved. turns effortlessly, no clown car stuff going on and is completely silent. I didn't have to fool around with valves, Speedway had it already figured out for me... on to the next issue!
