Overall Assessment

Customers have found significant improvements in stability after using our sway bar. It's praised for its perfect fit, especially in vintage Chevy Trucks, with the Speedway Mustang II front end and suspension components. Many customers mentioned the convenience of an already welded-on sway bar bracket. Additionally, our sway bar is appreciated for its excellent assembly ease and the dramatic enhancement it offers to control sensitivity and turn handling. The part is well-crafted, and the included brackets draw particular praise for their easy adaptability. Some users cautioned about the need for modification during installation, suggesting that spacers and additional instructions might be needed. Overall, the product is acknowledged for its high-quality and value, with recommendations for better clarification about the necessary adapters for certain lower arms. Despite some challenges, users are very satisfied with the product's performance and express preference for our sway bar over competitors' in the market.

Heidts high quality part and cost less t

I had to call Heidts direct for help on ordering the link adapter for a stock Mustang II lower arms. Speedway might want to state the corect adapter for either stock or tubular lower a arms. They sell both!

Doesn't bolt up no directions

This sway bar has all the right bends and is nearly correct for its application with the exception that one will need to manufacture some spacing blocks for the frame bushings as without them the bar hits the frame before the bushings make contact. There are no directions included and heidts doesn't have any. They made this product without ever bolting it up and use generic products that require modifications. I know most are easily versed in modifications but when they state it will work it should work. Unless you have the ability to make spacers and figure it out on your own then stay away

Fairly straight forward project. The control arms had pre welded mounts, so mostly a bolt in project. I was surprised that there were no instructions, either from Speedway or the manufacturer, printed or pdf. My reason for 4 stars.

Fits perfectly in my 1954 Chevy Truck. Using Speedway Mustang II front end and suspension components where the tubular lower control arms already have the sway bar brackets welded on.

Assembly easy if you have the tubular lower control arm with bracket already welded in. Truck handles so much better in the turns and less sensitivity in steering. Im very happy with this product

Fits like a glove if using speedways mii control arm kit. The front bushing mount holes line up perfectly with speedways bolt-in crossmember. just drill the rear bushing mount hole on each side and its done. took 5 minutes to install. Make sure to trim the radiator support per the crossmember directions.

Will this work with an air ride set up? I have a speedway mustang II crossmember, and Speedway tubular upper and lower arms (with the hole for sway bar end links). Also wondering if holes need to be drilled in the frame for the bushing mounts
