Overall Assessment

Customers have noted several issues with the product's design and quality. Certain features such as the lower necks, width, and side mount setup appear to be incorrectly sized, leading to fitting problems. Users reported that the filler neck is restrictive and the placement of the drain is inconvenient. Some customers felt that the machining was not as precise as they expected at this price point, with the mounting brackets on top seeming crude. Despite these negative comments, the product was still deemed a better option over cheaper alternatives. The product appears to need design improvements for increase in user satisfaction.

34 ford coupe flathead v8. I would buy a cheap Chinese unit before ever buying this again. Lower necks are 1-1/4" to low and not angled. Width is 1/2" narrower and the goofy side mount setup was designed by a 9 yr old. Filler neck is ridiculously restrictive when filling. Air trapped and takes forever to fill. Fill neck is 2 inches below top of tank. No way to mount the radiator mascot in the Factory position. NOTE*** the radiator cap is now on an extension under the hood . There is no provision for mounting the radiator mascot through the grill top. The upper mounts are horrid to deal with. They are threaded with a number 10 machine screw instead of a quarter inch bolt like Factory. The hood hinge upper mount is not even close to fitting the holes without elongating. The lower drain is too close to the hose to use the drain valve they supplied. I work in restoration and have installed numerous Model A radiators. Whoever designed this has never worked on a Model A. I've had less issues modifying cheap Chinese radiators to fit our model A rally cars

This is a nice exact replacement for fit in my 33 but some of the workmanship especlty the mounting brackets on top are just bent crude pieces where the hood supports go could be a lot nicer if it was a billet CNC piece welded on there instead of that twisted bent up bracket this was not a cheap part over 900 for this kind of expecting little better workmanship from Griffen little refinement and some TLC this would have got 5 stars
