Customers appreciate the high quality, fitting, and performance of our product that are among its top features. Several users recommend it due to its great quality, perfect length, and practicality. Reports are positive on its efficient mechanisms, especially notable on vintage models such as a '57 and a '35 Ford. The material quality of the hoses is considered high by most customers. Nevertheless, some customers reported occasional issues with parts like banjo bolts and fittings that may have affected safety. They applauded the cooperative customer service they received, but it's suggested to order the entire set from one manufacturer for perfect compatibility.

Other than the banjo bolts being too long, it was great. However, that cost me a day having to scrounge around locally for the right ones.

Great product but didn't fit my 1971 Cutlass supreme, Front banjo bolts needed .120 milled off because they were too long. Also the upper end fitting was too short to accept the clips that hold to frame. On the rear line the female inverted flare that connects to line coming from front was .100 too deep, when I tried to install my flare nut bottomed out before the flare was mated to fitting. This was all factory original 46 year old equipment so I know its not because of some aftermarket replacement parts causing the problem. To Speedway Motors credit, they were wonderful to work with and sent a replacement rear hose to try. I will continue to be a customer because they are a great company to work with.

First off, Speedway is OUTSTANDING. From start to finished they worked with me on my order and any problems that I had. I'm a soldier, and was deployed when I placed my order, so it was a couple months later before I could work on my car. When I did, I had a couple issues and instead of giving me the "Oh it's been too long" line, they gave me the "Oh yeah, we can and will help". VERY nice. The brake lines themselves were of really good quality. I was very impressed with them. When I put them on the car, they leaked where they connected to the hard line. I figured, well, 40+ year old car, probably time to replace them. Thankfully, I had ordered a new stainless line from "someone else". Go those lines installed and BAMB! They leaked again. Contacted Speedway and received a "You bet, well send you new ones and pay to have those shipped back". Got the new ones, was excited to put them on and, guess what....Leaked again. Called and talked with Speedway again, this time with a tech to try and figure out what in the heck is going on. We couldn't figure it out and they sent me a new set while they tested the first two. Got the third set. Leaked. Sent them back and received a full refund. I contacted the company that made the new hard line I had installed, ordered a set from them (at roughly the same price). Got them. No leak. No understanding or reason why. The new lines are identical to the stock lines. AND, when Speedway received the other lines, they put them on their "test machine" (what ever that was) and said they did NOT leak for them. So, everyone is a little confused. Lesson learned - When ordering brake lines, order the ENTIRE set from one manufacture. Over all though, Goodridge is a GOOD set. They sell THOUSANDS of these things with no problems. Just something odd on mine setup.
