These heatshrink tube clamps replace your ugly old hose clamps and give a much cleaner look. Conforms to any shape of hose or housing, even out of round fittings. They are easy to install with only a heat gun. Made from a heat-sensitive thermoplastic with a memory to prevent over/under-tightening. Unique indicator tells you when clamp has shrunk to seal.

These hose clamps cannot snag your shirt sleeves or scrape you skin. They look good too. BUT, they are one time use and take more time to remove. In spite of the removal difficulties, I still like them.

This product is easy to use and looks great. I use them for my radiator hoses on my exposed engine hot rods and have never had a leak in three years. Simply put on the hose and apply heat with a heat gun - done. To add a finishing touch, allow a little to hang over the edge of the hose so that when it shrinks it bends over, covering the edge of the hose for a finished look.

I used this on my street rod for a cleaner look. Per Gates, it seals tight and avoids future leaks due to expansion and contraction from heat. The clamp should be close to hose size to get a tight fit once shrunk. You need access around the clamp to use a heat gun to shrink it. Removal requires a special tool or a soldering iron.
