These heatshrink tube clamps replace your ugly old hose clamps and give a much cleaner look. Conforms to any shape of hose or housing, even out of round fittings. They are easy to install with only a heat gun. Made from a heat-sensitive thermoplastic with a memory to prevent over/under-tightening. Unique indicator tells you when clamp has shrunk to seal.
Temperature rating: -40° F to 302° F (-40° C to 150° C)

These clamps give perfectly distributed clamping force and have no sharp edges to damage silicone hoses or cut you when you are under the hood. they do not rust and they do not loosen from vibration over time. I have heard Gates is discontinuing them because they don't sell well enough, so stock up now if you want them. I think the problem with sales is not a product performance issue, but rather a marketing issue, most don't know about these or understand them.

Are these compatible with silicon hoses? Using silicon coolant hoses. Just want to make sure these are compatible before ordering.
