Users appreciate the product's high quality, signified by its solid fabrication as compared to factory-style plastic reservoirs which are prone to leakage. The larger size, although a bit wider and deeper, impressively accommodates a Detroit Speed hardline pressure tube. Easy installation and good compatibility add to its practicality. Despite the absence of a dipstick, maintaining the fluid level is straightforward. Compared to other competing products, many customers favor our reservoir for its superior quality and functionality.

The Aluminum canister so that I can put anFittings is what made it better versus the plastic one I had that was leaking

I had a plastic factory style reservoir that started leaking. I liked the thought of a solid fabricated reservoir. It fit great, easy to install. The reservoir is larger than the stock reservoir, a little wider (left to right) and deeper (front to back). I have a Detroit Speed hardline pressure tube and it barely fit around the reservoir. But it did fit and looks good. The return inlet is also a little further out than the plastic reservoir was and I had to use a little different fitting arrangement to get the line to fit around the power steering box on my '71 Camaro. Again, not a big deal, it worked out great. The Speedway Motors reservoir does not have a dipstick in the cap for checking the fluid level, but it seems that about 3/4" above the return port is the proper fluid level.
