Speedway Motors 91025619 Details

O-ring rebuild kits for stock clutch hydraulic throwout bearing 910-25610 for GM 3-speed and 4-speed transmissions. For bearings built after 1-1-2007.

The 910-25610 bearings produced after 1-1-2007 are much smaller than racing versions so they will fit behind "thicker" stock style clutches. This new design is also much cleaner as it has no boss on the body. It also features a retainer to prevent over-extension and seal damage.

Had a leaking throwout bearing so i ordered this kit to rebuild it. 4 of the 5 O rings were just fine but the 5th was the wrong size. The overall diameter is correct but the thickness of the ring is too small. Once installed in the outer grove, there is no contact with the inner sleeve. Had I not noticed the issue, it would have resulted in hours of wasted time reinstalling trans. I was able to source the correct O ring locally but that defeats the purpose of the kit. DOUBLE CHECK THE PARTS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION

this is the third try at fixing the leak. I bought a kit for this model and installed it in a year old bearing that didn't leak but the bearing leaked right away. thinking it was my install I ordered a new bearing and a kit for backup. the new bearing leaked immediately so the second kit was installed and it leaked. O-ring problem?
