G-Comp™ X Rear Brake Kit

 If you're planning on a high-horsepower G-machine build using our G-comp line of performance suspension, stopping is vital to putting together a top performer - no matter if you are committed to track days or just spirited street driving. We've packed together the exact same brake components we use on our Team Speedway G-Comp equipped race cars to provide you with the same stopping power as the pros!

The G-Comp X Rear Brake kit comes complete with Wilwood Forged Dynalite calipers, Wilwood Poly D10 brake pads, and Speedway Motors Pro-Lite Vented Rotors, and all the necessary hardware to get things mounted up to your G-Comp ride. This kit is designed for G-Comp kits that use full-floating, Grand National-style hubs and is not intended for use with traditional flanged housings. 

Wilwood Forged Dynalite calipers are the strongest calipers in its class, weighing in at 2.80 lbs! The 4-piston caliper has greater strength and reliability due to the forged material with reduced brake deflection. This equates to increased clamping efficiency with less pedal travel.

The Speedway Motors Pro-Lite Vented Rotors are constructed from premium grade, long grain carbon which exhibits long wear, high thermal stability, and excellent resistance to distortion from high heat. Straight vane rotor technology allows for the rotor to be used on left or right side mounted positions.

NOTE - To secure the rotor to the hub, it is recommended to use Part# 8352500071-1/8 – Rotor Hat Bolt Set, 1/8 Inch Thick.

SRP Drilled Performance Rotors feature a specially engineered directional cross drill and face slot pattern that improve brake response and pad performance throughout the entire range of light to heavy braking. The venting and cleaning action of the holes and slots will reduce pad glaze and disperse gasses and heat generated during the pad to rotor interface. The holes and slots also inhibit irregular pad compound build-up on the rotor faces resulting in smoother engagement and improved pedal response in all conditions. The material removed also contributes to lower rotating and unsprung suspension weight.

Wilwood Poly-D 10 Brake pads top off this incredible setup, which provides low to moderate wear, with medium friction, performing in the low to moderate temperature range.
