Overall Assessment

The product, a fuel cell unit, received positive feedback for its quality and practicality, with customers noting its durability and ease of installation. Users appreciated the unit's high performance, with one customer stating it "works like a dream". However, some customers suggested improvements in the supply of the necessary accessories, noting it didn't come with a contact wire, gasket or locking ring. Despite competitive products offering these inclusions, the product's confirmed qualities and features set it apart, particularly in terms of usability and reliability. There was an isolated issue of the wrong part being sent, but this doesn't reflect the overall product quality.

I have a 22 gallon fuel safe cell (old) and had a centroid sending unit that just never worked right. I redid the fuel pickup for a rock crawler and the original depth was 12" . The new 4 point pickup made it where I needed a 11" sending unit. This is as simple as it gets...two wires and a float inside a tube. I paired it with an older pro comp gauge and it worked superb. The gasket is top notch so don't worry about using a old style cork gasket. Two wires, mount and works excellent! Much cheaper than alternatives and appears to be built great. Save some cash and buy this.

I had an old centroid 12" and when I redid my fuel cell I needed to downsize. The centroid didn't work correctly and I figured I'd swap it out for a center float type. This worked great with my Pro Comp 5415 gauge 0-90 ohm and works awewome.

The only problem i had was the fact it didnt come with the contact wire for the top, gasket, OR locking ring with the studs. The one from summit does so i dont know why that was but i think it should be included if its the same price if not more than summit racing's unit
